I think it’s safe to say when we launch our businesses, we know we need to have a social media presence. But with so many platforms to choose from, how do you pick the ones that are best for you and your type of creative business?
I’m willing to bet that for most of us creatives, Instagram for small business is a good choice. It’s a visual platform full of beautifully curated feeds. And since we’re makers and artists, what better place to showcase our work than with an Instagram Business account?
To get the most bang for your buck, you need to have some best Instagram practices in place though, especially since a powerful Instagram Business profile takes time and effort in order to get more clients from Instagram.
Nadine Dafrawy, owner of The Henna Project, joined me in my latest YouTube series “What I Wish I’d Known” to talk about Instagram for Small Business and how to get more clients from Instagram.
The key takeaways from our interview are:
- Use hashtags
- Become a storyteller with your captions
- Post consistently
