When I heard Christine and Brian’s story, I was so excited to be their elopement photographer. We found each other through a Rising Tide referral, thanks Cristina! I’m so thankful my fellow wedding photographers and I are friends! We refer inquiries to one another and second shoot with one another. Christine and Brian’s Florida elopement was the definition of an intimate and small wedding. It was just them, the officiant and me, their elopement photographer. I had never been to the Steinhatchee Landing Resort but my husband’s family used to vacation there. While my husband couldn’t come with me this day as my elopement photography assistant, it was so fun seeing a place that he has so many great memories of. And it’s easy to see why!

Old Florida Destination Wedding
Located where the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and the Steinhatchee River meet, Steinhatchee Landing Resort is a true gem! It’s called romantic and enchanting for a reason. It’s a cottage community that sits right on the water featuring the adorable chapel where Chrissy and Brian were wed, perfect for their Old Florida destination wedding! The waterfront community also had free-range chickens and goats! Y’all… I couldn’t have been happier!

Romantic Florida Elopement
Brian is a Colonel in the Army so he wore his uniform. Chrissy wore a perfect-for-her simple, long, ivory dress with the most fabulous floral printed shoes! A fun fact, Brian is 13 inches taller than Chrissy, a fact he loves to have fun with! They met, and dated, in high school but went their separate ways. It wasn’t until recently that they found each other again and decided it was time to finally get married! Only, instead of the whole wedding and reception route, they chose to have an intimate ceremony, and I was thrilled to be their elopement photographer.
