Have you ever attended a wedding show or bridal show? If you have, you know how crazy hectic they can be. As the bride at one of these events you’re basically running through and getting a TON of info from a TON of wedding vendors and hoping you’ll find a team that will help you have the wedding of your dreams. As vendors, we’re telling our elevator pitch to brides and bride tribes over and over and over and over again, hoping that just one will book with us to make our time and efforts all worth it.

This couple is one of those “worth it” couples! Sharon and AJ actually don’t live in Florida but her mom came to the TAWP Wedding Show this past January. And I am so glad she did. She showed me Sharon’s pinterest board of custom wedding invitations ideas and promised she would be in touch. Sharon responded to my post-show follow-up email almost as soon as I hit send. And because of that quick connection at a crowded wedding show, I was able to then create this truly amazing Irish wedding invitation suite for them.

UV Printed Embossed Wedding Invitations

The next really neat feature on their Irish wedding invitation suite is the UV printed, or embossed invitation text. Just to clear something up real quick, embossed means raised lettering up off of the paper whereas letterpress means indented or pushed down into the paper. This was one of the features Sharon’s mom really wanted. The company I work with for these does a great job, are very fast and very reasonable. So don’t think that fancy features, like those on this Irish wedding invitation suite, also means high price tag too.

Wedding Rehearsal Dinner Cards

So if you want to be sure a certain list of guests know to attend your rehearsal dinner but you don’t want to list it on your wedding website, then a wedding rehearsal dinner card is a great thing to include in your package.

The last element this Irish wedding invitation suite included was a wedding details card. This has all the information about hotel accommodations and the transportation on it too. Wedding detail cards are a great place to include your wedding website link and any other info all of your guests may need to know as well.

Funny story about this Irish themed wedding invitation suite, and a testament as to why custom wedding invitations are worth it: I myself struggled with how to do a classy Irish inspired wedding invitation without being gaudy or cliche. I had just sent Sharon three different layouts and called it a night, not completely satisfied but still liking how one of the designs looked based on her Irish wedding invitation inspiration. Then, as I was falling asleep this design came to me. So first thing in the morning, I created it and sent her way. And wouldn’t you know, she loved it! She also liked one of the first Irish wedding invitation designs I had sent her but loved this final design. And I’m glad she did – I love it too!
