Deckle-Edge Rustic Wedding Invitations

These modern, rustic wedding invitations combine elegant touches with natural elements that are a perfect marriage of masculine and feminine. Pun intended 😀 From the deckle edges (hand torn) to the custom wax seals, everything about this wedding stationery suite makes my heart happy!

Ashley and I were introduced through fellow wedding vendor Kate, with A Piece of Cake Event Planning. After meeting at The Wedding Suite and going over her ideas and inspiration, I created a few designs for Ashley to choose from. She feel in love with these rustic wedding invitations after a few tweaks to one of the initial design concepts.

And that’s the great thing about custom rustic wedding invitations. You may scour the web for days trying to find one design that really encapsulates what you want. But oftentimes it takes a few adjustments to make it the perfect invitation design. And those online retailers are limited by what they can do to truly make your invitation custom.

The other great thing about creating those rustic wedding invitations for Ashley and Brandon, was also that I could then create wedding signs for them too! Using the same design elements, I created a custom signature drinks sign, aka a bar menu sign. And I also hand-drew a giant wedding seating assignments sign. Their chalkboard wedding signs were the perfect compliment to their wedding stationery!
