This next series of blog posts are all about family photo sessions. These holiday mini sessions took place at the amazing Just Fruits & Exotics nursery. And clients could choose between a gorgeous heirloom orange grove, or a Christmas Tree setup.
After a few orange grove sessions, I was excited when Sarah arrive and said she wanted some Christmas Tree Family Portraits! It was later in the afternoon, just before a rainstorm, so the lighting was perfection as it shone through the trees.
I am in love with how easily he hugged her during their Christmas Tree Family Portraits. There were no complaints or “aww do I have to?”s. He was happy to hug her and I could tell she didn’t take that for granted. When I asked him to tell her a secret, I have no idea what he said but it made them laugh. Which of course made me laugh too!
The jewel tones of the reds and blues in their outfits were a beautiful compliment to the trees. Look at those smiles! After he posed for his obligatory “school pic” pose as I call them, I said it was moms turn. She tried to get decline but we agreed it was only fair! And I’m glad she did it – she looked beautiful in their Christmas Tree Family Portraits.
