If all the craziness that was COVID 2020 taught me anything, it’s that love will prevail. Starting around June, I saw more and more couples opting for an intimate backyard Tallahassee wedding instead of the bigger traditional weddings. Beth and Steve had just a few close family and friends present for their elopement. And I adored everything about it!

It wasn’t the first marriage for either of them, Beth told me when we spoke on the phone a couple weeks prior to their intimate backyard Tallahassee wedding. I could hear the love in her voice as she spoke about Steve, and their soon to be blended families.
Intimate Backyard Wedding
Their friend, the owner of the home, set up a beautiful flower covered arch in his backyard for the happy couple to be wed under. And they had gorgeous floral arrangements by the ceremony site as well as a few cute arrangements in the lanai, where the reception would be held.
The rain held off long enough for them to exchange vows. And just barely long enough for us to snap a few photos with those attending, as well as some bride and groom portraits too.
And you can’t go wrong with a Chick-Fil-A catered reception! Paired with a bottle of very fine champagne, this intimate backyard wedding was the epitome of carefree and class.
Thanks again to Amanda, with A Beautiful Wedding in Florida, for bringing us together to make Beth and Steve’s backyard wedding truly special. I offer special rates for elopements, so please reach out if this is something you’d like for your own special day!
