You may be wondering what to write as your wedding thank you card wording for a variety of gifts. I’ve made a simple template that you can use to quickly write your gratitude while making each card personalized.
Easy Wedding Thank-Yous
Since writing wedding thank yours can be time-consuming, I recommend setting aside some time every day to get them written. For gifts received before the wedding, it’s often recommended to send thank-yous within two weeks. Then, for items you receive at or after the wedding, you can send in as much as three months.
Wondering what to say in wedding thank you cards? Look no further! I’m including a template outline below that can be tailored to any type of wedding gift, from cash to registry items, and honeymoon funds or charitable donations.

Adding A Little Extra
One extra step I love to see, and your guests will cherish, is including prints of any photos your photographer may have taken of each guest included in their wedding thank you card. As a wedding photographer, I encourage my clients to have 3×5 prints made of all photos that showcase a guest. Then, include any prints showcasing the guest with their thank you card. They’ll love knowing that they contributed to your wedding celebration and will likely display the photos on their fridge or in a frame. Trust me, my guests loved that I took this extra step.
Go ahead, copy this template and make it your own! I hope I’ve helped make writing your wedding thank you card wording a little easier and less stressful! And don’t forget, I can create custom thank-you cards to match your invitation suite. Or create a new design that you can use for years to come in your marriage.
