Patriotic Wedding Invitation Suite for Jessica and Daniel

Jessica and Daniel’s patriotic wedding invitation suite got its inspiration from their military background and love of the Chicago Cubs. We combined straight edge sides on some pieces with deckle hand-torn edges on others. Which I absolutely adore! And so many other custom wedding invitation elements that are worth checking out in the photos below.

Patriotic Invitation Suite 

To pay homage to their military background and love of the Chicago Cubs, without overdoing it, we chose a patriotic theme using deep reds, navy and pops of gold. This theme was included on both their custom Save the Date announcements as well as their full custom wedding invitation suite too. The USPS also had Military Working Dog stamp designs available at the time so we chose to use those on the outer envelopes as well as the RSVP envelopes.

Chicago Cubs Wedding Invitations

Without going overboard and making it too over-the-top sports themed, I created a custom wedding monogram for them. It mimics the shape of the Chicago Cubs logo with the half C while keeping in line with the suite by adding botanical foliage illustrations. Which was use for their custom wax seals.

The navy envelopes featured gold edging. The wax seal sat atop a shimmery gold belly band. And the military working dogs postage stamps pulled it all together for this patriotic themed affair. Their custom Save the Date announcements hinted and what was to come too. 

I love that their custom wedding invitations combined masculine with feminine, and lifestyles with favorite interests. All in cohesive, well-thought-out designs.
