Those of us in design keep our ear to the ground when it comes to Pantone’s color selections. For the past 20 years, Pantone’s Color of the Year has influenced everything from fashion, to home decor as well as marketing and graphic design.
And I have a feeling 2019’s Color of the Year will be no different. Living Coral is a beautiful orange hue with pink and yellow undertones. Perfect for vibrant brands and brides who are optimistic, joyful and playful. So let me show you how you can use Living Coral in your wedding invitations!

Pops of color can either cause brides to shy away, or go all in. For myself, I adore Living Coral – it’s my soul color! I even have a Kitchenaid stand mixer in Tangerine, so you know I’m all in!
It can be an overwhelming color though, as can any shade that isn’t a neutral. That’s why I recommend pairing Living Coral in your wedding invitations with neutrals or complimentary hues.

In this Saint Augustine inspired wedding suite, I used Living Coral in the watercolor backgrounds mimicking an ocean sunset. Custom venue illustrations in white really add that wow factor! Not to mention the hexagonal shapes, that really play off the joyfulness that Living Coral exudes.
