I loved capturing this intimate seaside elopement. With just a few friends and family there to celebrate with them, and a simple yet stunning venue adorned with show stopping florals, Kelly and Bart were a joy to photograph.
Something I’ll never tire of, as an Indiana-to-Florida transplant, is the ability to have an intimate seaside elopement in December. The day could not have been more gorgeous. Sunshine, light breeze, and fewer crowds thanks to it being offseason.
Elopement photography is one of my favorite ways to capture wedding photography. The day feels more relaxed, almost stress-free. And guests are usually very close friends and family members who know the couple on a deeper level.
Plus, with intimate seaside elopements like this, the budget allows for stunning details. Like this gorgeous bouquet by Kristi with At Last Florals. And impeccable coordination thanks to Diane at Sweet Tea Events. They’re a dynamic duo bringing elopements and weddings alike to life. And I’ve had the pleasure of working at real weddings and styled shoots with them multiple times.
Let’s hear it for Kelly and bart. A couple clearly in love with each other, comfortable and relaxed in each other’s company, and who know how to throw a beautifully intimate seaside elopement ceremony!
If you’re hoping to have your own Destin Florida beach elopement, I’d love to be your photographer!
