If you know me, you know how much I love the color yellow. But to be clear, I’m talking golden mustard yellows with warm and saturation. Not bright daffodil, spring yellows that tend to be more on the cooler end of the spectrum. Which leads me to these yellow, autumn New Haven Indiana wedding invitations. The perfect pop of yellow is the center of attention here.

Yellow can be a hard color to navigate. Mostly because, you either love it or you hate it. When creating these yellow wedding invitations I wanted to give off warm, welcoming vibes. Not yellow-polka-dot-bikini vibes. Though that’s a great idea and I’ll be saving that for another wedding stationery design!

Paired with fall flora, these yellow wedding invitations lean more into the former: warm and welcoming. The rust, reds and sage greens are perfect complements to the vibrant pop of yellow that is the envelope.

Let’s talk about that vellum wrap too! These New Haven Indiana wedding invitations feature a gate fold vellum wrap, that really adds an extra special touch to this custom stationery. I chose this feature because, while it is an autumn-inspired suite, it’s still a formal wedding. 

Having grown up in the New Haven Indiana area (Decatur to be specific), I’d say I’m pretty familiar with what’s available for weddings.
