When Maria showed me her color palette and some inspiration photos for her wedding theme, I could not have been more excited to create her wedding invitations. Earthy shades of terra cotta, tan and sage make these boho wedding invitations perfect. Add in hand drawn flora and that arch and its no doubt this wedding is all about natural beauty.
Boho Wedding invitations
Any sort of wedding theme can go way over the top if not executed well. That was not the case with Maria and Alec’s boho inspired wedding. Their color palette included golden yellows, rusty red-oranges, sage greens and warm, almost pinkish tans.
Boho weddings often incorporate geometric or arch elements. You know I love a good custom diecut invitation, but to save on expenses we opted to include an arch graphically instead. The boho wedding invitation itself features a lovely arch at the top in a soft coral, while the bottom is that lovely terra cotta, rust color.

Let’s not overlook the font combination here too. A casual script paired with traditional serif font. The font really plays off the hand drawn flora on the invitation. The Details and RSVP cards were combined into one. I find more and more couples doing digital RSVPs. And I love that! It saves on expenses, extra postage, extra envelopes and saves the trees too!
Their Details and RSVP card was basically the inverse of their invitation. That lovely warm tan background, with the rust colored text. They tied it all together with sage green envelopes. And I must say, next to that little succulent? I think we nailed those bohemian wedding invitations vibes.
