I always love and am flattered when fellow vendors ask for advice on planning styled shoots. My first tip is usually “it’s going to feel like an actual wedding day.” And by that I mean, even though the pressure of an actual wedding isn’t there, it’s still a ton of work and stress. Finding vendors, organizing timelines, securing venues, dates, wardrobes, all the things. It’s like planning your own wedding only you aren’t the one “getting married.” So why do we see so many styled shoots? Because they give vendors an opportunity to not only work together, but to do so with a lot of creative freedom. The theme for this shoot was Dusty Blue and cranberry, which is a gorgeous palette for autumn and winter weddings. And this venue was absolutely stunning – huge ceilings, chandeliers, a gorgeous bridal suite, masculine groom suite and fabulous finds from all across America blended seamlessly. A full list of vendors can be found at the end – so enjoy these gorgeous captures as you scroll to get there – and appreciate the amazing creative genius that is our Dusty Blue and Cranberry Wedding Styled Shoot in Tallahassee.
