Family Photos with Dogs at Maclay Gardens

If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “would it be weird to have our family photos with dogs?” The answer is a resounding “No! It’s not weird! Please bring your pets!” I firmly believe that all family portraits should include your beloved pets. Anytime I get to capture family photos with dogs, I get super excited!

Maclay Gardens Family Photos

Springtime is the peak season for family photos in Maclay Gardens. The camellias are in bloom and showing off a stunning display of colors. And the weather is not too hot yet that we’re sweating to death just a couple minutes into our family photo session.

My trusted vet for my own pets is Los Robles Animal Hospital. Dr. Donofro knew I was a photographer and wanted her friends to have photos with their dogs before they moved. So she gifted them a mini session. How amazing is that?!

I had a great time capturing these family photos. All three pups were so well-behaved and posed so nicely. And I loved getting to know their humans too! Although the pollen was INSANE (you can actually see it as a yellow haze in the background of some of these images). That didn’t deter us from capturing some special memories during this family session.
