One of my favorite decorating ideas for a nursery is a gallery wall. Well, I like creating gallery walls in every living space truthfully. In a nursery, a gallery wall has the potential to beautiful and heart-warming as well as fun and full of baby’s personality. I’m not talking about just using photos from your maternity and newborn sessions, though you absolutely should! Mix in candid photographs, artwork from your favorite children’s books, shelving and vintage finds or inherited pieces.
A gallery wall is also a great way to create a theme without going overboard. And best of all? It’s easy to do on a budget! Use pieces that you already have, combine them with those vintage flea market finds or sentimental inherited hand-me-downs. Have a favorite book from your childhood? Frame pages from it (either directly use the pages or have color copies made on gloss paper). A tiny swimsuit or other article of clothing? Display it in a shadow box. The possibilities are endless!
